I was introduced to Andy and Danyelle through a friend that was working with them. He was having great results and I knew I needed to lose weight, so I decided to meet with them. After a zoom meeting, I said “Yes, sign me up now!” When they said the first 30 days are hard, I laughed like, “OK, right.” Well HARD was not what it was for me…almost impossible was more like it! I was sick, couldn’t focus, almost passed out several times and was so miserable I told them there was no way I could do this! They explained why I was feeling like I did (which, to be honest, I thought they were full of it) promised it would pass. The first couple weeks were like this. At the end of EVERYDAY I said I was quitting, but in the morning I’d choose to "do it one more day". I was losing weight…A LOT of weight. Eventually the days got a little easier to get through and at the end of 30 days, I was down 30 LBS! At that point they added food to my plan which made everything easier! I'm on day 90 now and down 55 LBS! Making the changes to my diet they suggested have really just made my life better. I feel so much better and I can do things I haven't done in years (including walking a 5K with my daughter)! This is all just from eating right (which I truly had no idea what “eating right” was before, but now I do). Nothing worth doing is easy and this was definitely not easy. I am so glad I stuck with it and I am continuing to learn what to do and with the help of Andy and Danyelle guiding me, each day is easier. Don't get me wrong…there are still days where it’s hard and I still see food I want, but my brain says, “No, why would you ruin all the work for a few seconds of pleasure?” Overall, I am so glad I started (and stayed) on this journey to improve my life. It's so satisfying to see myself in the mirror or pictures now and know that I fixed what I hated about myself. Hello! My name is Elaine and I want to share with you a bit of my journey. I’m 61, a wife, mother and grandmother. All my life I served my family and others. I always enjoyed cooking, baking and hosting events with food and love.
I’ve struggled with my weight from childhood through adulthood. I’ve been up and down, trying a couple weight lose programs when I was in my 30’s and 40’s. The last number of years I’ve given up hope of ever losing the weight I needed to look and feel good again. In the beginning of 2023, I started having issues with an elevated heart rate, increased joint issues, gut pain, and overall just not feeling good. That June I was inspired by a friend who was on a health journey. I’m currently in the 4th month of my 6-month plan, have lost over 50 lbs. and feel great. My pulse rate dropped immediately upon changing my eating habits. My gut issues subsided. I have been working on my mental health since 2021 but was still feeling hopeless when it came to my physical health. My family has a long list of cardiovascular disease and I realized that I was allowing so much anxiety into my life surrounding this and it was destroying me. My weight was at an all time high, I have been on cholesterol medicine for years, I was eating Tums like candy, diagnosed with sleep apnea and was eating my feelings. My grandmother passed in 2022 and I was completely lost as I was her caregiver for the 3.5 years prior and she and I had always been very close. She ultimately passed as a result of her heart disease and I spiraled. I began shopping for larger clothing every 6 months and was embarrassed that someone might see me going into the stores I had to shop in. Notice I said had to shop in!
In August of 2023, I saw a friend posted on Facebook about the weight she had lost in just 3 months. I reached out and listened to what she was doing and she told me about this Nutrition Program that she and her husband started following. She told me that her husband was a harder sell and the beginning was a struggle but they forged ahead. She looked amazing and I thought maybe I would give it a try too. It still took me a month to set up my initial consultation.
September 7, 2023 was officially the first day that I began to take back my life in the realm of physical health by having my initial consult with Sharp Health and Fitness (Andy and Danyelle). Meeting Andy and Danyelle has changed my life in SO many ways! They told me that it was not going to be easy in the beginning just like my friend but I’m not going to lie…the first few days I was almost positive that I was not going to stick with it! I called my friend crying (on Day 3) and she talked me through what happened with her husband and encouraged me to reach out to Andy and Danyelle so I did. I was telling them parts of how I was feeling and even then, they feared me giving up BUT they never gave up on me! They don’t know this but their unwavering support along with my friends and family got me through the first 30 days of essentially detoxing my body of all the chemicals and processed foods.
At the end of 30 days, I was still going and had reached my first goal which was to not give up on myself! Then, in the next 30 days, I had a few minor set-backs: I ended up in the hospital with Diverticulitis and I went on vacation to Disney. Thankfully, with the coaching and guidance of Andy and Danyelle surrounding my trip, I only gained 2 pounds which took 2 days to recover from. I was able to eat healthy while away and I felt good walking all over the parks. Before these changes in my life, I would have been out of breath and miserable in the parks. I feel great and I have been able to go on walks with my 9-year old son and I am looking forward to so many new adventures with him! Through all the holidays, I have been able to stay the course as I now eat to live!
At this point, it has been 90 days of working with Sharp Health and Fitness to regain control of my life and I can honestly say I am so excited for the future now! I recently received my new bloodwork and my cholesterol is the lowest I have seen it in the last 10 years. My doctor is even looking to repeat my bloodwork in June and feels confident that he will be able to remove my cholesterol medication 😊
In these 90 days, I have lost 40 pounds, 22 inches and 10% body fat. I have dropped 2 pant sizes and no longer fear being able to fit in a seat on a plane or at a hockey game. I am 68 years old & I have tried many diets over the years – and yes I lost weight but always gained most of it back when transitioning to life off the diet plan. I was following a friend online and saw how much weight he was losing. I did not want to lose a lot of weight but Sharp Health and Fitness seemed like a plan I could learn how to lose weight and have the knowledge to keep it off. I also wasn’t sure I could handle the online presence that Sharp Health and Fitness required. So I decided to try it for just 3 months and Danyelle and Andy were very helpful with the Zoom calls. My 1st goal was to lose 15lbs which I did way before my 3 months were up. My 2nd goal was to lose 5 more lbs. – just to have some wiggle room, which I did. I started my journey with Sharp Health on November 6, 2023 and I am 65 years old. I have been on so many “programs” and diet plans in my life and I thought I knew it all. I wasn’t sure I would succeed, and although I have more weight to lose, I feel amazing. Starting weight was 209. As of April 15th my weight is right around 180 pounds. As a Soldier in the U.S Army, I was mandated to maintain a certain weight standard. I noticed after retirement the weight quickly increased even after joining a gym. My daily routine included cycling, body fight, Zuma and power classes. I was going to the gym everyday working out hard or even harder as if I was still in the military. I didn’t understand why I couldn’t keep off or lose a couple pounds. I was at a stuck point whenit came to weight loss. My name is Cicely and I want to share my experience with Sharp Health and Fitness. Iwas introduced to Sharp Health and Fitness by a friend in or around November 2023. I was always questionable about the different weight loss programs on the market until Iseen a picture of my friend on Facebook. I immediately reach out to her to see what she was doing to lose weight in such a short time since I last seen her. Her reply was, “I have two nutritionist coaches by the name of Andy and Danyelle. She explained thatthey genuinely have a passion for health, and I love it. She said if you’re willing to invest in your health give them a call and even if you’re not sure make an appointment and listen to them while you decide. I made the call in December and was immediately intrigued about how he could help with my inflammation and my gut issues but I wasn’t sure if I was ready to move forwardwith the program. For the next two months I continued with my same routine consuming all the same foods that I thought were good for my weight loss. In my mind I thought Iwas doing better but my body was not showing any signs of improvements. In February of 2024 I made up in my mind that I am going to do this, regardless of the fear of not completing this journey. I did my first zoom interview, we discussed my goalsand talked about the meal plan going forward. I sent in my first week tracker on Saturday and on Monday I started my new journey.To my surprise the first week was not bad, I didn’t cheat, and I felt good about what I was doing. By cutting out all the junk food and replacing it with a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and protein, the weight started dropping. By the end of my first 30 days, I was down about 11lbs, not just that, my body fat and every other bad fat in my body was decreasing and I was not going to the gym at all. I finally realized that his program was what I needed to get my body back on track. Not only was I losing weight, but I started seeing at first hand my commitment and discipline to the program was for real and I enjoyed eating real food that would fuel me.I became aware of what my body needed, with the help of Andy I was willing to a change for me and no one else.Some days were hard and many days I didn’t feel up to it, some days the scale went up and down. After trying every weight loss plan out there and never finding the right fit for me, I finally found Sharp Health and Fitness. I was feeling tired and sluggish and having trouble sleeping. After about two weeks on the plan, I realized that I no longer had that 2:00 pm crash that I used to fix with caffeinated soda. I actually had energy and my sleeping has improved greatly! For the first time in my life I see food as fuel. I have lost 16 lbs and 10 inches in three months. With Sharp Health and Fitness there is no guessing or counting calories. The first thing I would like to do is thank Andy and Danyelle. At Sharp Health and Fitness a big thank you. I'm 60 yrs old and overweight I have knee problems and fatty liver I seen a couple people I knew on Facebook and spoke with one of them. He told me to get in contact with them. So after a couple phone conversations I started my journey. On January 28 2024 weighing 212 lbs . I decided to go with the 6 month plan . When I started all I did was follow Andy's program which consist of proper food. In my younger years, I was skinny but with having three children and some miscarriages, I just kept gaining weight after having or third child I was not happy with my weight in 2022. I got on program that a friend of mine was a coach I wanted to change my diet because I found out I have high cholesterol and the doctor thought, I should get on meds, but that was the last thing I wanted to do so I decided to get on the program and was on it for one year. I did lose weight pretty fast but then I decided to check my cholesterol again and it wasn’t any better so I decided to get off of it and try some other natural remedies. It just seem nothing was working and I gain the weight back again , then one day I saw a post from Sherrie Good on Facebook about a program. She is on and right away. It peaked my interest. I got on a consult with Andy and I will say it definitely was not a mistake. He was there to coach me and did a great job. I definitely recommend his program this teaches you how you can lose weight And eat the proper foods I lost 31 pounds in three months, 20% of body weight, 17.5 inches and 9.6% body fat so thanks to Andy and Danyelle. My initial introduction to Sharp Fitness came through my wife. While her interest grew from frustration that resulted from self-discipline tied to other ineffective solutions, my interest came from frustration with myself. Years of unsuccessful attempts on my own willpower, and habits of laziness when it came to nutrition, meant that I was overweight, in poor health, with no clear path to anything better. At Sue’s suggestion, I agreed to an initial consultation with Andy. The biggest factor for me in this 90-day program was the accountability built in. Knowing that I would be reporting daily to Andy on my eating habits was the motivating factor that I could not provide by myself. Doing it repeatedly week after week helped me develop the positive habits that I needed to replace the negative ones. My wife started two weeks before I did, but the fact that we went through most of the program together was a big help. Even though the plan was personalized for each of us based on our individual needs and goals, doing meal planning and celebrating our respective milestones was a big encouragement to each of us. We both tend to have a competitive nature, but it was actually fun to see ourselves on the same team in this process. Rather than restricting or limiting our diet, our thinking has changed when it comes to food selection and meal preparation. We actually have become more creative when it comes to what we eat. I love our smoker grill, and smart choices when it comes to beef, poultry, and fish mean that we can enjoy lots of those, prepared the right way. When I started the program, I was over 240 pounds and on medications for high cholesterol and blood pressure. I am now close to my initial goal weight of 200 pounds, and plan on continuing that weight loss and going off both those medicines. What began in my mind as a diet plan has turned into a way of living and something that I expect will add both years and enjoyment to my life. “My name is Lori, I am 48 years old and I have struggled with my weight for years. I had finally gotten to the point that I weighed the heaviest I ever have and just over all felt awful. No energy, depressed and realized I had been secluding myself more and more from people and activities due to my low self-esteem. Just like everyone, I have had stressors in my life that added to my unhealthy life style habits. I had made up my mind that I needed to make some changes or the consequences were going to be detrimental. I started around the end of February with just cutting out all of the soda and snacks I was eating out of boredom, depression, stress. For approximately 5-6 weeks, I started to lose weight (21lbs) but I was still unsure of what actual healthy food choices were for me. Forturnately, I had run into a good friend of mine from high school who had been working with Sharp Health and Fitness and had made a total transformation. I almost didn't recognize him! He was kind enough to explain to me what he had been doing to lose the significant amount of weight that he had and get me in touch with Andy and Danyelle. I decided to join the program on April 8, 2023. I knew it was going to be a huge change for me, but I was finally ready. My life and tumultuous relationship with my weight begins long before Guillian-Barre Syndrome (GBS). However, my journey is largely shaped by this syndrome. In 2009, 2 weeks after giving birth to my son, I began to have tingling is several different areas of my body including my face, inside of my mouth, hands and feet. Doctors were stumped and I received opinions including carpal & tarsal tunnel syndromes, multiple sclerosis and post-partum depression, to name a few. Several ER visits, many unpleasant tests and hospitalizations culminated in the diagnosis of GBS. Basically, something in my body flipped a switch and my own body was attacking my nerves...ALL of my nerves. It was immensely difficult to walk, talk, stand up straight and, worst of all, I couldn't care for my baby without help. Worst of all, my entire body tingled as though I was constantly being pricked by needles, worsening when anything touched my skin. With treatment with IVIG and a final 5-day hospitalization, I began to see slow improvement and was ultimately able to return to life and work with very little residual effects. Fast forward to 2017, I was fresh off of a partial hysterectomy due to endometrial cancer and fresh off of a divorce. I lost a ton of weight on an unhealthy diet of coffee and cocoa almonds. Soon after, I met my forever love and life had made a 180 deg turn that was full of fun, laughter, dates, and true love. Problem was, through the years I had forgotten how to love and care for myself. My weight see-sawed and I tried many, many "diets". Each one lasted for a finite amount of time and then I gained all of the weight back and more. That is until several of my wonderful neighbors began working with the Sharps and I asked about this lifestyle journey they were on. Let's be honest, I was terrified, but I reached out to Andy and Danyelle, jumped in head first and signed up for 6 months. I just passed my 90 day mark and I no longer have joint pain or indigestion and I have seen significant improvement in my blood pressure. Never, ever have I looked forward to my annual physical, but this year I am! Danyelle and Andy have and continue to help me to learn how to love myself and my body. They have inspired me and stood by me every step of the way. They are present every, single day and are encouraging and supportive. Without the accountability, without the personal touch the Sharps put on their programs, I know I could not have been successful. I do it for my family, I do it for myself...I do it so I can see my son grow and thrive and don't miss out on one second of his life. GBS took time away from me after he was born and I will never let that happen again thanks to Sharp Health and Fitness.
Allyson's Story from Guillian-Barre Syndrome and Back ('2023)
I am 49 years old. I have been confined to a wheelchair for 33 years. I have struggled with my weight for years. In April, I had talked to my sister who signed up with Andy & Danyelle. So, I decided to take the opportunity as well. In March I had already made some changes to my eating habits, and I lost 6lbs. So, on April 18th, I started the nutrition plan. It was very tough the first week to eat all the food, I was not used to eating 5x’s a day. It did get easier. Andy & Danyelle were by my side every day. Having their support was truly the biggest help for me! I’m almost 180 days in and I have lost 29 ½ lbs. with their plan and 23 inches. I will continue on my own.
In June I bought a Top end handcycle which is a bicycle for handicapped people. My husband & my son dedicate every Sunday to go biking with me. WE ride on rails to trails in Hancock, MD and in PA. We have put 40 miles on my bike since June.
This has been the best experience ever!

The summer of 2022 I stepped on the scale and was the heaviest I had ever been. 343 Pounds. I grew up playing sports and being around the weight room and realized it was time to get my butt back in there and start working out. I was working out 5 nights a week for almost a month with almost no progress. At that point, it felt like I was so out of shape I couldn’t get a good enough workout in for it to be effective. So, I turned to my family doctor to seek injectable options for weight loss, hoping that if I could just get some weight off I could be effective working out.
September 2022 I started on Ozempic. Although it was an effective drug, it was costing me almost $700 a month due to my high deductible plan. I continued to use Ozempic for a full year and lost 55 pounds. However, during the last month and a half on Ozempic, my weight loss plateaued. At times I even saw my weight steadily increasing. I’m assuming this was do to eating the same foods that resulted in the massive amount of weight gain. This only further proves that I would have needed to stay on Ozempic for the rest of my life or once coming off of it, I would have just gained it back because I wasn’t fixing the root of the problem. I also became aware of studies showing an increased risk of thyroid and pancreatic cancer from staying on the prescription for long periods of time.
During the year of using Ozempic, there were a several times a week where I felt nauseous or woke up with severe abdominal pain. My energy levels were low and at one point I was drinking 2-3 energy drinks a day, just to be able to function on a normal basis. 83 days ago, I began Andy and Danyelle’s program. As of this morning, I’ve lost just under 50 pounds. I’m on track to lose the same amount of weight in 90 days that I lost on Ozempic in a year. I haven’t had an energy drink in 83 days and my energy levels are better than when I started the program. I haven’t had to deal with any of the negative effects of Ozempic like nausea or the abdominal pains. The transition off of Ozempic onto Andy and Danyelle’s program did concern me. However, I took my last shot and a few days later I started the program. It took a few weeks for the drug to get out of my system, but it was honestly a smooth transition. I had no negative side effects coming off of Ozempic. If I would have know more about Sharp Health and Fitness in September of 2022, I probably would have gone that route rather than just taking a drug to mask the problem that was causing my weight issues.

I completed the Sharp Health and Fitness three-month diet and exercise plan. I lost twenty pounds total, but also gained muscle mass. I had gained 20-25 pounds during COVID and needed help getting back in shape. Andy and Danyelle were supportive and understanding. They personalized a diet plan to my specific needs. Their diet plans are strict, but maintainable. I especially like how they prioritize muscle mass when losing weight. Many diets result in muscle loss that is difficult to recover for older adults. You’re never too old to make a positive change in your life!
I want to share a weight loss adventure with you that delivers positive results. This past summer my husband ran into a friend that he hadn’t seen in a while. His friend had lost a significant amount of weight and looked incredibly well. His transformation was amazing. After a very informative discussion, Terry Learned how his friend managed to have such great success. Terry was provided with the website and the names of the nutritionists, Andy and Danyelle Sharp, who effectively guided his friend on his successful life-changing journey.
Terry rushed home and was excited to share this information with me. He felt certain this would be a good program for us and saw the proof on his friend. I rolled my eyes and only half listened to his story. Terry was so excited and couldn’t wait for us to do this together. We are both in our 70’s, have been on every diet around for the last 40 years. I had thrown in the towel and figured nothing would ever change, and we were too far gone! Somehow, we convinced ourselves that by eating two meals a day we were eating healthy. However, the truth was, we “grazed” all day long. If we walked into the kitchen, we were in the cupboards or fridge. We had developed terrible eating habits and were truly miserable with ourselves.
I finally agreed to watch a video that his friend had made and agreed to at least listen to what Andy and Danyelle had to offer. What they shared sounded doable. It actually made sense and seemed like with some discipline on our part, we could do this. Never ever did I think from October to December I could drop down two sizes in my clothing. I am much happier with how I am feeling, much happier with how I look and much happier stepping on those scales.
We recently had our yearly wellness visit with our primary doctor and she was extremely pleased with our results. We explained what we had been doing and she seemed supportive and was impressed with improvements indicated in our bloodwork.
I finished the 90-day program and feel confident that through the guidance of our knowledgeable nutritionists, Andy and Danyelle, I now have a better understanding regarding food and eating. Food no longer has power over me. Terry has continued with the program and we are both continuing to drop those pounds. It does take a little work on your part but believe me it is worth the results. This is Terry and I would like to make a few comments. I agree with Cathy and would like to give my perspective. After consulting via Zoom with Andy and Danyelle, we decided immediately, this sounded like something we could do and committed to do it. Doing it together made it easier, as we were able to support each other and had tremendous support from Andy and Danyelle. The first two weeks were probably the most difficult, but then we got into our daily routine and have pretty much continued it. I found that I became much more disciplined with my eating habits which is necessary and I wont go back to my old habits. As Cathy said I have continued in the program for another 90 days and have continued to lose weight. I lost about 40 lbs the first 90days and am nearing 45lbs. I’m now at the weight I was in college, when playing football. Never in my imagination did I think I would ever see this again. Ive also dropped two pants sizes and had to put more holes in my belt. Such a great feeling. You too can do this if you have determination and discipline and are willing to listen to Andy and Danyelle. We are in contact with them at least five times every day and they are there to answer any questions. Every thirty days we have a conference call with them for about an hour, and they go over your progress and make needed and supportive observations. Remember that improbable, bell-ringing, cherubic messenger Clarence from “It’s a Wonderful
Life”? Then you know that heavenly angels can show up as unrecognizable, unlikely
messengers. My own angelic “Clarence” turned out to be a coarse fellow, known among friends, for his blunt, uninhibited pot-shots that too often painfully find their target. One Sunday he hit my
bulls-eye, and it hurt. That church morning he fired an ego-wounding round, telling me “You’re fat”. OUCH! He was rude. And right.
If you’re reading this, maybe you’re fat, too? Welcome! Misery loves company. We are food addicts of a feather, flocking and feeding together. Our habit-forming dependency is condoned,
and fed by media assuring us how acceptable, even beautiful obesity can be. No fat-shaming allowed. Euphemisms like plus-size, big-boned, heavy-set and body positivity disguise the
truth that can set us free from an unhealthy, costly, unattractive, and potential killer addiction.
The media deluges us with quick fix supplements and medications to shed our excess poundage. And then those messages are contradicted by a fire-hosing of propaganda for
poisonous, processed fast food fries and more. And we’re left confused to figure out our fat figures. My own excuses were maybe more compelling than some. Surgical complications and weeks of comatose intubation had severely damaged my trachea. The consequences included unrepairable obstructed breathing, disabled ability to exercise, and self-medicating with lots of comforting food, including a good helping of lazy-boy consumed, super-sized couch-potatoes! My expanding physique made worse my arthritic knees and already impaired breathing. Tom’s
snowball was going down hill fast! And then just in time, Angel # 2 showed up in the form of a fast-shrinking fellow-fatty named
John Lawler. Like my earlier #1 Angel, John was an unlikely heavenly messenger. When asked how he was losing so much so quickly, he told me of the journey he was on to fight his lifelong weight battle. His amazing progress was being guided by John’s own angels. And soon
that delightful couple would also become my #3 Angels named Danyelle and Andy Sharp proprietors of Sharp Health and Fitness. Fast forward 140 days after my initial no-obligation zoom consultation with Andy and Danyelle … I am down 70 lbs. and 10 inches on my belt size, with more to go. My breathing has amazingly improved, my body is getting stronger via twice-weekly PT. I regularly walk a mile
for the first time in over 4 years. Thankfully my old clothes don’t fit, this time for a GOOD reason. And with all these improvements, I am meeting with a renowned orthopedic surgeon

In the season of becoming empty nesters and looking toward retirement, we have had time to reflect on our health. We want to age well. A friend referred us to Sharp Fitness and we started the Premium plan in October 2023. What we liked about our initial visit was the friendliness and sincerity of our coaches Andy and Danyelle. We also liked that we were free to set our own goals while the Sharps gave us the tools to reach them. The accountability required in the Premium plan helped us to start losing weight quickly thus giving us the incentive to keep a consistent meal plan of healthy foods. The Sharps are excellent teachers. Learning about proteins, fats, and carbs and considering them as fuel for our body brought more clarity to what can appear to be complicated. Also learning about how some foods can cause inflammation brought new insight. We also enjoyed trying new foods that the Sharps suggested. Doing the plan as husband and wife brought us closer as we encouraged each other and had fun preparing and trying foods that we wouldn’t normally eat. In the end, we have lost a total of 50 pounds combined. Even better, we saw a decrease in Body Fat Percentage showing that much of the weight lost was indeed fat. Our clothes fit differently and we felt stronger with more energy. Upon reaching our goals the Sharps have remained available under the Basic plan to help to maintain our new lifestyle, to incorporate exercise for stronger muscles, and to learn how and when to add carbs. They have been a great resource.

I began my journey with Sharp Health and Fitness 90 days ago. Think about it, 90 days, that’s like a fraction of my life. My time with them was short but the benefits will last a life time!
I began this journey as a 31 year old, stay at home mother of two toddlers, with a fresh ACL replacement, and just recently found out I had high cholesterol.
My husband and I tried for a long time to have our children and went through IVF to have them both. If you don’t know, IVF comes with a lot of medications and hormones that, in the end, can really change your body. On top of that, our children are only 17 months apart, so I never really gave my body time to recoup before getting pregnant again. Our children are the light of our lives and we are so blessed to have them.
As many of you know, parents don’t always have time to put themselves first. While my husband and I did our best to eat well and exercise, we were falling short somewhere and we just couldn’t figure it out.
My first goal with Sharp Health and Fitness was to lower my cholesterol. I had just recently found out through bloodwork that my cholesterol was very high. I desperately needed help. There was something I was missing. Where was I going wrong? Sharp Health and Fitness fell into my lap at the perfect time.
Deep down, I really wanted to lose weight but had little faith it would happen. Thinking about my diet; I rarely eat sweets, we don’t go out to eat, I don’t drink soda, I try to limit my carbs. There is no way I’m going loose much weight in just 90 days. So I went into this completely expecting to only improve my heart health and not see many changes physically on the outside.
BOY WAS I WRONG! Andy and Danyelle work miracles! I am the type of person who would be stuck at the same pound (to the ounce) for months. Once I started working with them, everything just started to melt off! In the first week and a half, I lost 10 pounds, like WHAT?!
No supplements, no fasting, no medications, no exercise, just food!
Since January, I’ve lost 30 pounds, 16% of my body weight, 18 inches (not including my legs and arms) and LOWERED MY CHOLESTEROL SIGNIFICANTLY!
I lost A LOT, but I gained so much more! I began to work with Andy and Danyelle back in April. A friend of mine had done the program and I was shocked to see the difference in him just a couple short months later. This immediately peaked my interest in getting some extra weight off of myself. I was also curious to see if I could see an improvement in my IBS symptoms as a result.
I had always been a big guy. My normal weight was in the 250-260 range and I had been that weight for years. Then life happened, kids came and a voluntary switch to the midnight shift was made to have that time home with them. After several years of midnights I was noticing my new normal weight to be hovering closer to 290.
I’ll start with a brief summary of my “normal”. My work schedule consists of a 2 week period starting on a Monday. I work daylight from 7-3 M, T, W. I then go home and sleep for a couple hours and then I come back in Wednesday night for my “Thursday” shift of 11-7. I then work 6 more nights of 11-7 before having a 4 day weekend. So I essentially sleep at night for 7 days and then sleep during the day for 7 days. I didn’t notice it at the time, but trying to keep a healthy and normal diet routine on that schedule was very difficult.
I was still weight lifting, hiking and doing cardio on the treadmill or bike regularly and felt fine, but I was quite a bit heavier.
I then met Andy and Danyelle and began with this program. They immediately showed me that not only was I not eating enough food, but I wasn’t eating enough times a day. On day 1 of the program I weighed in at 282lbs. On day 30 I was down around 256. On day 60 I was down around 238. On day 90 I had passed the 50 pound mark and had hit 232. Since then I have started different workouts and weight training and have been able to easily maintain my weight between 235-240.
Once I began the program, I immediately noticed the weight seemed to be melting away. Looking at pictures from before and after, I could see not only the fat loss, but a complete change in my posture. The pain I would get in my traps and upper back was happening less and less frequently. I also noticed that my IBS seemed to have calmed down tremendously.
Overall, the program has been a phenomenal program that has helped me lose not only the extra weight I started carrying after beginning midnights, but reach and maintain a weight I hadn’t been since graduating high school.

My name is Karen and my A1C was over 7 when I first signed up with Andy and Danyelle. It has been one of the best decisions I've made. I signed up for the 3 month plan and let me tell you how well that has gone for me. I'm extatic with my progress and new life changing eating habits. I feel so much better and have so much more energy. Danyelle and Andy not only coached me on my journey, they became my cheerleaders. I've tried following healthcare nutritionists advice without success. They mean well but, for me, the program was not specifically designed with choices suited for my body. Hello All! My name is Dan and i want to share my experience with Sharp Health and Fitness. Sharp health and Fitness is not just a business. They are people, Andy and Danyelle, who genuinely have a passion for health and the well being of others. While they have given me this opportunity to share my thought I was not obligated or compensated in any way. This is just my story!
So may people refer to things such as diets, eating plans, lifestyle changes when they alter what they are consuming to loose weight and/or get stronger. I like to think what Andy and Danyelle have provided me is the TRUTH about food. Food is anything that we can consume in our mouths and is sold in a grocery store. Food alone can lead to long term health problems like I have experienced in my family for years. Both my Dad and Grandfather died of heat attacks in their early 70’s after decades of chronic health issues. I was not going to let that happen to me!
FUEL is what our bodies need to survive, to function, to perform, to live, and to enjoy a long healthy life. I was consuming plenty of food before I met Andy and Danyelle in early January. But what I was consuming was not portioned correctly or was just not fuel for my body. What they taught me is invaluable. I am very happy to have to say that to date I’ve lost 35lbs, BUT the lessons learned about food and exercise is what I truly appreciate. I have more energy, find myself sleeping less and not feeling tired. I have more stamina and now a healthier Dad, Husband and person.
If you’re on the fence about being healthier, DO IT NOW! You wont regret it. Learning to live on food other than cheesesteaks, pizza, beer, and other prepared food is a lesson worth your time. While i wasn’t eating from fast food restaurants or drinking soda before i met the Sharps I was still doing it all wrong! Guess what? You can’t live on just food alone people need fuel! While i may enjoy some of the foods i used to eat from time to time again in the future, they will not be the norm, because FUELING my body with good vegetables, healthy carbs and lean proteins will give me what I NEED to perform in my job, play with my kids and enjoy life to it’s fullest. "I had been working out with a trainer at a gym with no air conditioning. When the temperatures hit 90 degrees, I had to stop. I didn't really know how to find new trainers. I started work with Andy and Danyelle in October of 2023. I had been eating my feelings since 2017 when Diagnosed with breast cancer. The complete opposite of what you should do after a diagnosis!! I was out of control and 212 pounds. I was skeptical as I felt i had tried everything. I was riding my pelaton 3-4 days a week, walking one hour a day, had worked out with a personal trainer 5 days a week that cost me thousands of dollars and only further plumped me causing weight gain as I had never worked on my diet and inflammation! I had had every test imaginable looking for the reason for my weight gain and basically gave up on the idea of being a healthy weight again. I was tired, short of breath, in a size 16 and gaining. I had watched a friend via Facebook transform his life and lose over 100lbs with Andy and Danyelle and yet I was still so skeptical. I decided to have a free consult with them just to see what it was about. As a nurse I felt they had to be selling pills, shakes, potions or lotions. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized they were not selling anything! They promised to be with me every step of the way and they held to their promise! The first two -three weeks were really really hard for me but, they were my safety net on the other end. My body detoxed from all the years of toxic chemicals and waste I had been feeding it, my blood sugars balanced out and the cravings disappeared! Slowly over the last 4 months ( 120) days I have watched the inflammation in my body disappear, the pain dissipate , brain fog vanish and my energy levels increase dramatically! On April 24, 2023 I started a health journey with Sharp Health & Fitness! I was having heartburn/digestive issues and could not sleep at night. I had made visits to the doctor. The doctor just wanted to give me pills that aren't good for you and also wanted me to lose weight their way which I'm totally against. So after reading all the side effects, I said no thank you. This program is strictly food straight from the grocery store. No pills, patches, or shots! I talked to a former classmate that was doing this program. I ran into a friend at a party who had just worked with Andy and Danyelle and he was telling me about the plan. Having a super busy lifestyle and traveling a lot for work, I didn't think I'd be able to keep up my end of the deal with the daily weigh ins and reporting in at mealtime. I was referred to Andy and Danyelle of Sharp Health & Fitness by a few co-workers who were having some amazing results in weight loss and overall health benefits. I was intrigued by the health benefits such as reducing inflammation which had the possibility of suppressing some autoimmune disorders. Also, I wanted to lose 15-20 pounds. My name is Mark D. and I have just completed my second round of The Premium Nutrition Plan. I am a 47-year-old man that lives a sedentary lifestyle with a large family. I spend at least 80% of my work day driving and the other 20% staring at a computer balancing numbers. After an accident at work, I became even more sedentary. Eating mostly fried foods and not exercising caught up to me at my yearly checkup at the doctor. I gained approximately 45-50lbs and my blood work was terrible. I was classified as Morbidly Obese and prescribed various medications for high blood pressure and cholesterol. I learned of this program from a friend at work and made a call! This is where Andy and Danielle explained the program. First and foremost; I am over the Moon happy with my results. At my best I lost approximately 37.6lbs. Currently I am at a 32.0lb weight loss...but Happy Thanksgiving! The number on the scale is important and gives you the daily feedback of what you did or did not do correctly. Although I am happy with the decrease in my bodyweight/bodyfat percentage; there is more to this program than just losing weight and bodyfat. My blood work is still not perfect but I do not take any medication. I sleep better and no longer snore. I can walk up several flights of stairs and not be out of breath. My clothes fit differently and I have gone down in waist size. I am living a much better life than what I was 6 months ago. There are several other aspects of my life that have improved due to this program. This can be expected when you lose weight and eat correctly. I have lost weight on other diets. I have felt good on other diets. Andy and Danyelle are on a different level. I now understand the importance of "gut health" and eating to heal. This is not a lifeless program where you just follow a set of rules and directions and hope for results. Andy and Danyelle take the time to explain what is happening and why something is happening. Even if you think you know something or just want clarification; ask them. Andy and Danyelle are available or will make themselves available as soon as possible for any type of questions. Take the time and talk with them; the more you understand and learn from them, the better! If I had to pick one thing about this program that I would like everyone to know it would be this: The program works; how much depends on you! The sooner you start; the sooner you change. There is no perfect time or perfect set of circumstances. Life is messy but your health does not need to be. I say this because my first 3 months on the program were riddled with family problems and work problems. I had to adjust and adapt when I could. When I followed the program to a T; I averaged a loss of about a pound per day. I was not able to continue but I did what I could and ate as close as I could within the guidelines. Ultimately; I did lose weight and I improved my overall health. Despite the curveballs life threw at me and a few unforeseen setbacks; Andy and Danyelle remained supportive! I never felt judged by them. I never felt pressured by them, even when the scale went the wrong way! I am sure they would have loved for me to lose more weight. It is because they did not push me to lose more weight; to move the numbers on the scale, to get "better results" ; I learned they care about YOU the person overall not just results. They care about YOU improving your quality of life. They care about helping YOU do your personal best! The program is great; Andy and Danyelle are what is best about it! WOW, where do I start? I'm 48yrs old and have tried or been on every diet known to man kind!! So when I heard about Sharp Health and fitness, was I skeptical? Absolutely! How can one put into simple words how much Sharp Health & Fitness means to me, or to express anything different than what has already been said by others? It is remarkable to me the outstanding results these two amazing people have accomplished with everyone that joins their journey of health & fitness. I have read so many success stories and just marvel at the incredible results and transformations. As I read numerous success stories I knew I had to do this program because if they could do it, so could I. So, on August 23, 2023, I signed up for the most important health decision of my life by embarking on a healthy-eating life change with Sharp Health & Fitness. In the process of my weight loss journey my cholesterol has lowered, my blood pressure remains normal, I don't get winded climbing stairs, I have more energy, and my hair, skin, and nails have become healthier.My story may sound similar to others, although mine may have been more of a struggle with slower, yet consistent results. The weight never "melted off" of me like so many others have expressed. But it did come off albeit a steady, slower decline. It was a continuous up and down the scale (a little here, a little there) battle for me. There were many times that I only lost 1 or 3 lbs over a week, or longer, and other times where I lost 1-3 lbs overnight. Sometimes I felt discouraged at my progress and other times overjoyed! Three things are key: determination, dedication, and discipline. You have to want it. You have to stick with it. You have to do it for you, because YOU matter! In doing so, ... the results will happen. It's taken me 9 months to achieve my desired goal weight with a current total weight loss of -61.4 lbs, -42 inches, -15 % body fat, -27% body weight loss, -10 points off my BMI, and 4 clothing sizes. I truly never thought this was possible after struggling with my weight the past ten years. But it has and it will for you too if you just make the decision to go for it!The pounds are slower coming off at this point and I now desire to lose another 10 lbs to reach my next goal (I've moved the goal post), but persistence and the support from Sharp Health & Fitness as I begin my next phase in their exercise regime will help me reach my goal, as well as achieve body strengthening and toning. By changing my diet I have seen so many health benefits, from increased energy levels, and stellar blood pressure, to no longer dealing with acid reflux. I first learned about Sharp Health and Fitness when a friend of mine posted on social media about a new program she was doing. It caught my attention because I had been desperately looking for someone to give me guidance on weight loss and healing after from some health circumstances that led to me gaining a ton of weight in a short amount of time. I felt totally trapped in my own body and although I consider myself very knowledgeable on health and healthy eating, I had no idea what to do to make things “click” so that my body could release the weight I had gained. Hi, my name is Mike and I would like to share my journey with Andy and Danyelle from Sharp Health and Fitness. I’ve tried just about everything out there to lose weight. I thought I knew what I was doing but was never successful. I was dealing with a lot of weight gain over the past couple of years. I have High Cholesterol, Hypertension, Gastro issues and was pre diabetic. I needed to make a change. In April of this year, I had blood work done and had a visit with my doctor. That was the breaking point. My doctor was not happy with my blood work and proceeded to shake his finger at me and said I had 3 to 4 months to make a change or else he was going to push for medications to get things under control. I knew at that point that I had to make a change. The crazy part was that previous 3 to 6 months my wife would come home from work and talk about this lady named Elaine who was working with someone to get things under control. Just about every week she would come home and tell me about how a mazing she looked and the changes that she made. When I got home from my doctor’s visit, I realized the reason why my wife was telling me about Elaine. It was right in front of me the whole time…. just took the wake-up call from my doctor to connect the dots. This was my opportunity to make the much-needed change. And that’s how I met Andy! Andy has been AWESOME and what he does for his clients is life changing!! He provides the oversight and accountability that you need to get back on track. I have about 2 weeks left of my 3-month program. I am down over 45 pounds and feel 10 to15 years younger. I am about 10 pounds away from my goal and hope to be very close to it by the end of my program. I no longer get winded walking out to car or doing activities around the house. Ever since I had Covid in September of 2021, I felt off! That “off” could best be described as complete exhaustion, decreased energy, brain fog and plain out tired! I so badly wanted to exercise and be able to function normally in life, but it just seemed like nothing was helping those symptoms to improve. I also have a history of thyroid issues which I’m sure also played a role in how I was feeling. As a result of the pure exhaustion, I just couldn’t make it through an exercise without giving up and felt like I was gaining weight in the process. I really wanted to feel better. I wanted to be able to wake up and not wish I could go right back to sleep! While I was seeking advice from doctors and functional medicine practitioners, blood tests, supplements, etc, nothing was working! I felt like exhaustion was just going to be a normal for me for the rest of my life! Then I watched the Good Family as they were following a health journey. At the beginning of this year, I found myself at the heaviest I have ever been. With it being the start of a new year like many years prior I made a goal to lose weight and be healthier. For me my health journey started when I was at a friend’s house, and they were explaining what they were doing with Sharp Health. At this point in my life, I had tried Noom and Keto. Both worked but I always put the weight back on after going off the diet. I was also hovering around 220 pounds which is the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life. I knew I wanted a change but couldn’t seem to maintain one. So, with prompting from my friend and my wife I called Andy.During my consultation conversation with Andy I knew this is something I wanted to do. He talked about gut health, weight loss and my relationship with food. I come from a family where the men tend to be significantly overweight. As a husband, father and principal I know that I need to keep my body healthy in a way that I can be as attentive and active as possible in all I do. Additionally, the Lord calls us to see our body as a temple, thus taking care of it physically matters as well.The first week with Sharp Health was miserable. I don’t say this to discourage anyone but rather as an encouragement and an understanding that good things take hard work and are challenging. That first week my body basically went through withdrawal as it was getting used to not eating crap food like bad carbohydrates and too many refined sugars. It was one of the hardest “diet” weeks of my life. My body craved certain foods, but Andy and friends helped me persist through that first week. After the first week my body settled into routine with the foods I was allowed to eat. I felt different, more awake, more wherewithal, and more energy. Additionally, my body lost 12 pounds during that first week. It sounds crazy but true.As the first month ended, I had lost about 25 pounds and was ready to head back to the gym. Over the next two months I was able to introduce more foods back into my body and maintain my weight. Over the course of the final two months, I was able to lift heavier weights and my joints hurt less when lifting, especially during RDL’s and squats on my knees. When I started back in the gym, I was able to do about 2 dips on the dip bar and I am now up to 10 dips.I’ve been done with Sharp Health for about a month, and I’ve maintained my weight. The difference is the relationship I have with food and an understanding of what it does to my body. This summer my family and I went on vacation to the beach. At the beach I did not worry about what I ate and enjoyed the beach. I gained about four pounds at the beach. The difference though, is when I got home, I knew exactly what I had to do to lose that weight and within a week I was back to where I wanted to be. My goal is to get to 15% body fat and have a more chiseled body. I know I will get there because I now know what to do. My weight loss journey has been one of trial and error. I had read so many weight-loss and nutrition books and went down the trail of every possible diet plan (LA Weight Loss, WeightWatchers, Isogenics…) to both lose weight and develop sustainable, life-long nutrition. With each of these, the promises fell short every time. I was skeptical when I first read the testimonials at Sharp Heath and Fitness, doubting that another plan could provide what the others could not. I also knew that my challenges would now be even greater than before, being mid-50’s post-menopausal. I was already on a gluten-free, sugar-free diet and was not sure what more Andy could offer. I am 5’3” and over recent years my weight kept creeping up from the 130’s to the 140’s, 150’s, and 167 by January 2024. The free one-hour consultation and how quickly Andy responded to my initial inquiry were encouraging. It was a very positive first step. The fact that there were no products to purchase and that I would be in charge of shopping and preparing my own food gave me even more hope that this might work. It was very freeing to know that someone with Andy’s expertise would bethere to guide me through the process, and I wouldn’t be left on my own once again to figure out what was working, what wasn’t and especially why. Once committed, I looked at the next 90 days as a detox from foods that were holding me backand developing patterns based on food that would benefit me. There were no cheat days, just 100% commitment. (Giving up coffee was especially tough!) I communicated with Andy every single day, reporting my weight and sending pics of all myfood. On top of that were weekly submissions of meal plans. All of these were met with prompt response and feedback from Andy, helping guide me in making the best decisions for me. I wasreluctant to take pictures of myself and submit regular measurements, but they were such helpful tools as the journey continued. The 90 days went by quickly. I was amazed how energized I felt through the whole process. I have now reached my goal weight of 130 pounds and feel amazing! Even more than that, I feel confident that the patterns I have established are now part of my every-day routine. Although I completed the 90-day program, I now have the tools and knowledge to continue in a positivedirection. Sharp Heath and Fitness has been a game changer for my husband and I. I started my journey in April after seeing a friend post pictures of her accomplishments with Sharp Health and Fitness. I have Crohn’s disease, hypothyroidism and high blood pressure. I’m on medication for all of them and even had to take 2 Benadryl to help with sleep. What made me start my journey was because I didn’t like the person staring back at me in the mirror. I woke up every single morning with pain in my stomach. I lost all my self esteem and had no energy. A few months ago, I saw one of my closest friends post about her transformation after going through 90 days of a nutrition plan. I couldn’t believe her results (they were AMAZING!) and after speaking with her, I found myself very interested in seeing if this was something that would benefit me. You see, I’ve been active my whole life, but since hitting my 30’s I’ve lost touch and was struggling with what I should be eating to fuel my body. Where my exercise has been dialed in and on point for the past 15-20 years, I knew the missing link was my diet and I just couldn’t figure out how to fix it on my own. I have read countless articles, I’ve tried counting macros, I’ve tried counting calories and just couldn’t stick with it. I felt stuck, sluggish, tired, and everything hurt! I didn’t like what I saw when I looked at myself and I found myself speaking negatively about myself when I looked in the mirror. “Oh look, another “weight loss trend” that will fade out in 6 months”…. This was my thoughts when I saw a close friend of mine make a Facebook post about Sharpe Health & Fitness roughly 5 months ago. After trying what felt like all the different trends and programs to lose weight and feel healthier, there was absolutely no way I was wasting my time and setting myself for disappointment from another one. I sat back, watched and waited. She posted a before and after photo and my jaw dropped!!! So of course… long story short, I asked for a consult with Andy about the programs they offer and set one up, I got all my ducks in a row so I had NO EXCUSES and started a month later, which now has been 3 months ago. I have gained SO MUCH knowledge about what my body actually needs and how to maintain it. Andy has been there for every question (and I had plenty 😂). The program works as long as you work the program! Inspired by my friend’s amazing results, I was totally on board with trying Andy Sharp’s health and fitness program for myself. I’m thrilled with the end results! In 3 months I’ve lost 15% of my body weight and 18”. The best part is how great I feel! I’m sleeping better and have lots of energy to tackle the day! My clothes are either no longer tight or too big for me! There were challenging times but in the end I’d do it again in a heartbeat! I used to have to take Pepcid daily for acid reflux. I've spent the last decade of my life trying diet after diet with mixed success and never seeing the health benefits I truly sought after. In 2020 I had a stroke due to a blocked carotid artery. After that experience I had started on a weight loss journey and had lost about 40lbs. Fast forward to 2023 and I had put 15lbs back on and realized I was headed in the wrong direction for my health and I knew I didn’t want to end up back where I had started. I also was facing a stem cell knee injection (using my own stem cells) In April 2024. The doctor said for the best possible healing of my knee I should eat a low inflammatory diet. The 90 day process wasn’t going to work for me! I was going to be the only one who doesn’t see results. I started my personal journey to try and lose weight the beginning of January, 2024. I have struggled with sugar addiction since I was a child and have been overweight most of life. I love to cook and bake for others just like my grandmother and mom. Heading into 55 years around the sun, I needed to make a change. I struggled all through school, and into my adult life with being over weight.I would do the weight loss challenges at work and would lose some and then eventually gain it back. Atmy highest weight I was 275 lbs – I am 5’11” so that was certainly obese by any metric. Today I’m 178lbs.My daughter got married this year in February so I had to maintain my weight in order to fit into the tux(that I was measured for back in November of 2023) .. Liz and I tried to keep our eating clean.We have been buying organic chicken and eating venison for about the last 7 years, shopping only theoutside of the grocery store, except for salad dressing, coffee, pretzels and tortilla chips.Costco….. well……we were addicted to the $5 dollar chicken and often we bought their pre madepasta/casserole meals. One of the hardest things to have to give up on this program, but I feel so muchbetter. Snacking in the evening and eating dinner at 7-8pm wasn’t helping either.Liz came to me after our catch up conversation with Nancy, and she said I’d really like to try this, I wantto get off maintenance medication, and you want to be at peace when you get your DOT physical forcommercial driver license in October, can we give the Sharp Program a try? As it happened we werescheduled to do a stay-cation, and Liz went to Florida to help her girlfriend get packed up and ready tomove back PA, but we emailed Andy, and we set a time for our first consultation zoom with him, and heexplained the program. He sent us all the paperwork, and we completed that, and decided that on June23 rd would be our start date with the program.I have to be honest, the first 30 days I kind of walked around in a daze, but almost instantly stopping the$5 dollar chicken and eating clean I realized that I had no more aches when I got up in the morning, andI began to sleep better because the pain wasn’t waking me up… I did however need to take it easy as Iwas a bit of a wobbly Bob working my 9-10 hour days.I can’t say that I have ever felt ravenously hungry on this program, because eating 5 times a day does fillyou up along with the 120 oz of water I was drinking.The program really didn’t alter our grocery shopping all that much, it actually went down, because weweren’t eating as much. Measuring ounces was KEY for me.From June 23-July 23 I lost 23lbs, I could not believe it. I had to put 3 or 4 more holes in my work belt.From July 23-August 23 I lost another 16 lbs – now people were noticingFrom August 23- September 23 I lost another 7.5 lbs, my neck size used to measure 17.5” and now is14.5”, my metabolic age went from 62 to 55 I will be 59 on 11/1/24.I can testify that this program works, because it is about changing your lifestyle – from planning andweighing portions, to planning the grocery list and meal prep, it has made a huge difference in myrelationship with food. I eat to live now with a quality of life I have never know before. I don’t feelguilty, I exercise, and I enjoy shopping for cloths a first in my 58 years around the sun.I am forever grateful for my sister who I love dearly, and for Andy and his kindness and encouragement.This program works if you work it

PLEASE READ ALL THIS BEFORE JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS.As most of you know I suffered a severe heart attack 6 years ago. Several months ago my cardiologist said I was doing great, but that I had to do something about my weight. Through the years I have tried every fad diet that people suggested. I always lost weight but as soon as I stopped the diet the weight always came back and usually a little bit more. Six months ago I ran into a Pastor friend and he had lost a tremendous amount of weight. I asked what he was doing hoping he was not using the shots. He told me he was not on a diet but was working with a nutritionist. A side effect of learning the impact of food on his body was also losing weight. No pills, no bars, no purchasing fake processed food. Just eating good quality protein, vegetables and fruit. I contacted Andy of Sharp Health and Fitness (check him out on facebook but actually read the stories). This is the most affordable, effective and enjoyable process I have ever gone through. It was not without challenges, but I now know how to actually live in the real world of food. I GET NOTHING FROM POSTING THIS, AND REALLY DON’T WANT TO. Being overweight has been something I’ve struggled with my entire life. I tried so hard, so many times, to lose weight, but after a short period, I would give into my old habits of overindulgence, excess, and abundance. Though I decided I needed to lose weight, I never decided to change my lifestyle. Therefore, each fix was only temporary.I heard someone once say, “You can reach out for help halfheartedly and you’ll get it and you won’t take advantage of it. It’s really not that difficult to overcome these seemingly ghastly problems. What’s hard is to decide.”Though they were talking about drugs, I feel this still applies to my food addiction. Eating healthy is a decision I have to make and continue to make each day. Not letting food control me is honestly a conscious choice.Sharp Health Fitness has shown me what it means to live a healthy life. They gave me the tools to change how I think: to eat to live and not live to eat. I’ve learned how to eat to fuel my body.I’ve just completed my 6th month, but I knew the old me when I joined. Ending right now before the holidays would not have been smart for me, so I decided to do this for a year. Though my mindset has changed and I am no longer the old me that would have given in to every temptation, I’m so glad to have the extra support throughout this upcoming season. My name is Tam and I am turning 56 in one month. I was of the mindset that being overweight was just who I was and I was unable to change anything at this stage of my life. Then a friend who is about 20yrs older then me started evaporating before my eyes. She looked amazing in just a few months and it made me think, if she can do it so can I. I signed up for the 6 month plan in April of ’24 and here I am, 6 months later. I have lost 15% of my body weight and 30 inches. It wasn’t an easy journey, I am sure I gave Andy some moments of exasperation, but I did it and WOW, I feel amazing. For me, it’s not even about the weight loss. I have learned that the number on the scale is not the most important thing. What I am so grateful for is the strength I have learned that I have, the tenacity to keep going even when I didn’t want to, the willpower I found to speak life into my mind and therefore make my body healthier. I came from a position of cringing and running away when anyone complimented me to being able to accept compliments and even beaming with confidence that what they were saying was true. My journey isn’t over, I still have work to do. But with the knowledge that Andy has imparted to me, I know that I will reach my goal. I began the program two weeks after a major surgery. My intent was to help identify foods that may be contributing to some of my medical issues. And two weeks into the program, I got pneumonia. Post those initial hurdles in the first month, I begin to see real differences and how my body felt and looked. While I lost 20 pounds on the program the more significant impact was how my body looked and felt. I lost double digit number inches and the swelling in my tissues went down significantly (including what I thought was cellulite). My body was processing food differently throughout the entire journey and completely eliminated discomfort in my bowels with digestion. My skin and hair began to look healthier with my hairdresser commenting on the amount of new growth I was having on my head. We began our journey with Sharp Health and Fitness this summer. We had friends through our church who had successful results on the program and we thought we would give it a try. Amanda had been dealing with weight gain after years of fertility treatments, PCOS, endometriosis and having a hysterectomy last fall. Scott’s weight began to increase after he lost his dad in 2021. Andy made us feel comfortable from the first consultation. He helped to create realistic goals and answered all our questions.
